As it is really important for student's to be mentally and physically healthy and strong to prosper in their career, so are the services that are being provided them to flourish despite of the odds and problems that any individual can face in a society.
So here is a brief reflection about the services that are important part of student career and their well-being.
First of all, the student care team has an important task in the welfare work of a secondary school. The student care team is responsible for the planning, implementation and evaluation of the entire study care at the educational institution. An important goal is to prevent problems that undermine students' well-being through community work.
Secondly, Student health care promotes student's health and ability to study. Student health care also promotes the health and safety of the study environment and the well-being of the study community. Student health care is part of student care, where health nurses, doctors, psychologists and curators are there to support you when necessary, together with other professionals from the educational institution and student's own close circle.
Furthermore is the curator that helps with a wide range of issues affecting studies. The curator can help, for example, in difficulties related to housing or money matters, bullying at school, problems related to home conditions or substance use, or if it is difficult to find motivation to study. Discussions with the curator are confidential.
Similarly psychologists and psychiatric nurses, help students to improve their mental health and life conditions. Apart from that, educational institution youth workers help the student in matters related to daily studying. Students can come and talk to them about anything.
It is possible to get support from a special education teacher for r studies if a student faces difficulties in studies, student's studies are not progressing or it is difficult to find study motivation. The special education teacher plans support methods suitable for learning in cooperation with other teachers.
Student counselling is another important part of student welfare and well-being services. The purpose of study guidance is to support the student during their studies and to ensure that the students get the necessary knowledge and skills from their studies for working life or postgraduate studies.
Each student is assigned a responsible teacher, who is the closest support person in studies. The responsible teacher familiarizes students with study practices and guides them into the profession together with other teachers.
Moreover, the teacher in charge reserves discussion and guidance time with the student for, among other things, preparing a personal study development plan (HOKS) and monitoring the progress of studies. If the student is a minor, the Responsible Teacher is also in contact with the guardians. If the student has any questions regarding their studies or their progress, the student can contact their teacher in charge.
