PROFESSIONAL TEACHER EDUCATION

 We had our fourth webinar on 18th of October. We reflected on the competence goal 4 that was: "You understand the meaning of assessment and feedback in higher education pedagogy, specifically peer assessment and feedback". First of all, we all participated in general meeting and discussed few points regarding assessment and feedback. Everyone came with quite meaningful thoughts about assessment and feedback in higher education. Some of those points are:  It accelerates the performance. It increase the power of learning and development. It's a way of improvement. It determines the new teaching and learning methodologies. Moreover, our tutors Marjukka and Juha also added useful points about assessment and feedback that: Giving feedback is always about respecting others. It should be positive and constructive. Sadly I couldn't attend whole webinar due to some personal problems. Later on I went through all the recorded videos of my group fellows and all of them shared really great information about different topics they were assigned. Though I was a bit confused at some points but after reading the materials I was much clear about so my points that I had in my mind. On the other hand, I am truly happy to work with my group members Frauke, Promise, Tien, who always help me through different things. By: Abeeda Khan ( Group: 4) First webinar have been absolutely great and full of learning outcomes. Though we had some technical issues during the session but overall it was really good. It was my first ever webinar after one year break. I was a bit confused and nervous at some points but by the end of session I learnt so many things from my other group fellows Jaakko, Malek & Chijioke. They brought amazing material and elaborated it so wisely. During each group's discussion, we had informative question and answer session. The Jamboard idea for brain storming, different youtube videos, and the pre tasks created by different group members helped to understand the different ideas and theories of learning.
